The VE-5x5 adds vandal and weather resistance, as well as versatility to Viking’s doorboxes and handsfree phones.

The VE-5x5 is a black powder painted steel, weather resistant box designed to be surface mounted to a single gang box, a wall or a pedestal.

The VE-5x5 is designed to be used with the E-10 and E-30 handsfree phones, the W-1000 handsfree doorbox or the stainless steel, vandal resistant W-3000 handsfree doorbox.

Applications

• If you want to mount a flush mount door phone (Viking E-30) and you can’t cut a hole into the wall to mount the flush door phone.

• the VE-5X5 mounts to the wall then the door phone mounts into the VE-5X5.

• If you have a brick wall or a post you can mount the VE-55 to the post and it will be weather proof and allow you to mount the door phone in it.
